Protect the Reef: Be a ReefTeacher!

Want to help protect Hawaii’s delicate and beautiful coral reefs?

On behalf of Kahalu‘u Bay, The Kohala Center invites new and longtime residents interested in protecting and deepening their relationship with Hawaiʻi’s reef ecosystems to join its ReefTeach program. By helping to educate beachgoers about coral reef health and how to respectfully engage with these fragile ecosystems, we all become better learners and ʻāina advocates. Community members of all ages are invited to become ReefTeachers; The Center provides training and participants set their own schedules. Email Kathleen Clark at kclark@kohalacenter.org or call 808-887-6411 for more information or to sign up for an orientation.

Aloha! I’m a real estate agent on the wonderful and amazing Big Island of Hawaii. I live up the hill from Keauhou Bay, just south of downtown Kailua-Kona. I love to help people. If I can be of assistance, get in touch.
