I'm a Kailua-Kona resident and a native Californian. In a prior career I performed research for non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area but now I'm a real estate agent here on the Big Island.

Monthly Market Statistics

Hawaii Information Service's September 2021 report shows the continued strength of the Big Island real estate market. "Days on market" can be misleading as the figure appears to include homes that, for whatever reasons, have been listed for weeks or months. Desirable homes that are properly priced in the Kailua-Kona region are often under contract within days of becoming available.
